The Boeckel family has been established in Mittelbergheim for 400 years.
In 1853 the vine-grower Frédéric Boeckel founded the commercial enterprise.
At the end of the 19th century a large part of wines was already bottled – in advance for that time – and exported.
Today Jean-Daniel and Thomas Boeckel continue to produce high quality wines on 24 hectares of excellent vineyards, cultivated according to the rules of the organic farming.
