The Chambert spirit is to offer unique and ecologically responsible wines. The estate has been part of this virtuous dynamic for more than 10 years: the vines are managed organically and biodynamically (Ecocert and Demeter certifications). The vines are in their natural balance and express themselves with a beautiful identity.

Chambert overlooks the entire Lot valley (300 m above sea level). Malbec expresses itself in finesse with aromatic potential supported by a beautiful freshness. This exceptional terroir, planted on the high limestone hillsides, is just as remarkable for its beauty. Exposed from sunrise to sunset, the vines benefit from privileged sunshine, oceanic and continental air currents, and in particular the « Autan Wind », a hot wind coming from the south.

Philippe Lejeune and Lin Liu produce wines that are faithful to the place and to the soil, expressing their terroir.

Elegance, complexity, and precision are the key words of the estate’s wines.

In 1895, Antonin Ressès inherited only a part of the estate that would become Château la Caminade.

This place, « La Caminade », is steeped in history, since it belonged to the clergy until the French Revolution (these monks knew how to choose the best terroirs with care and produced the greatest wines at the time).

Today, with a surface area of 28 hectares, Château la Caminade, located in Parnac 46140, is rapidly becoming one of the references of the appellation, a great success attested by numerous medals in various international competitions and other fine recognitions in specialized guides and magazines.

« One of the best Cahors of the decade », according to Pierre Casamayor, author of the book « Vignes et Vignerons du Soleil » and journalist for the « Revue des Vins de France ».

The family tradition (four generations), the exceptional situation of the vineyard and a permanent questioning, combine to produce one of the most beautiful jewels of Cahors.
